&#;They who act without sufficient thought, will often fall into unsuspected danger.

For whatever reason, there's been some rather disgruntling news as the UK gaming store, GAME, has started cancelling some peoples' pre-orders.

Considering the Nintendo Switch is only a couple of days from release, this has unsurprisingly been a huge disappointment for fans and especially those who pre-ordered the device on day one.

The reasoning behind this sudden effect is unknown. It's possible that it could be a system error, or perhaps it's the case that GAME bit off more than it could chew and kept accepting pre-orders despite not having the stocks to fulfil requests.

In some cases it looks like only some parts of the orders are being cancelled, like the console but not the game or accessories. However, GAME has yet to reply or release information about what's going on.

So if you've bought from GAME, give your order a quick look-over to be sure nothing's gone on. It's better to be safe than sorry.
@GAMEdigital care to explain why my switch preorder has been cancelled? Been on hold for 1hr to your cs. Whats going on?— king of the gypsy's (@madduey) February 28, 2017
@GAMEdigital hey, why are you cancelling random bits of my Switch pre order?? ????— Adam 'Dexter' Grant (@Angry_Rage_Quit) February 28, 2017
Really angry with @GAMEdigital who cancelled my #nintendoswitch order coz @AskLloydsBank stopped the funds thinking it's fraudulent ????????????????— Gurps (@Gurps_Singh) March 1, 2017
I see @GAMEdigital have done for the Switch what they did with me and the NES Mini (i.e. lie through their teeth from start to finish).— Nick Mellish (@nickmellish) March 1, 2017
Hey @GAMEdigital My Switch (neon) preorder was cancelled yesterday, and your site isn't letting me order again. It's also messing (1/3)— David M (@dinkydarko) March 1, 2017 Source: Trusted Reviews

You can now download the first episode of World War I adventure game Valiant Hearts for free on the App Store.

Before, part one was available for £2.99 / $4.99, with subsequent chapters priced at £2.49 / $3.99 each.

You could also buy the whole thing as a bundle costing £5.99 / $8.99.

Now that initial price tag is gone, but the episodes following still cost £2.49 / $3.99.

Valiant Hearts is an adventure game by Ubisoft Montpellier, set during World War I.

It earned a Silver Award for its unique look and feel.

Read our full Valiant Hearts review to learn more, or check out AppSpy’s hands-on video below.

    &#;
The frenetic and challenging arcade game Pang Adventures has gone on sale for 1.99p / 1.99c on the App Store.

The colorful upwards shooter pits your harpoon-wielding hero against waves of bouncy bubbles. Shooting one splits it into smaller spheres, turning a simple battles into a hectic test of evasion and precision

Pang earned a Gold Award in our review last year, specifically for its twitchy action, excellent controls, plethora of modes, and fast pacing that feels perfectly-designed for mobile.

You can purchase Pang Adventures on iPad and iPhone.

"tales of land and sea And whatsoever might betide The great forgotten world outside."THE FIRST BRIDE OF GREEN GABLESOne evening Gilbert abruptly proposed that they go down and see Captain Jim. With a sinking heart Anne agreed, and they set forth. Two weeks of kind sunshine had wrought a miracle in the bleak landscape over which Gilbert's crow had flown. The hills and fields were dry and brown and warm, ready to break into bud and blossom; the harbor was laughter-shaken again; the long harbor road was like a gleaming red ribbon; down on the dunes a crowd of boys, who were out smelt fishing, were burning the thick, dry sandhill grass of the preceding summer. The flames swept over the dunes rosily, flinging their cardinal banners against the dark gulf beyond, and illuminating the channel and the fishing village. It was a picturesque scene which would at other times have delighted Anne's eyes; but she was not enjoying this walk. Neither was Gilbert. Their usual good-comradeship and Josephian community of taste and viewpoint were sadly lacking. Anne's disapproval of the whole project showed itself in the haughty uplift of her head and the studied politeness of her remarks. Gilbert's mouth was set in all the Blythe obstinacy, but his eyes were troubled. He meant to do what he believed to be his duty; but to be at outs with Anne was a high price to pay. Altogether, both were glad when they reached the light--and remorseful that they should be glad.
