The game is being released in celebration of Fate/Stay Night's 15th anniversary and will be available on both iOS and Android.

Long-time fans of the Fate/ series may recognise Capsule Servant as a mini-game from Fate/hollow ataraxia that was last released on the Vita in 2015. It's a tower defence style game that features chibi versions of the game's characters.

In its original release players would choose to play as either Rin Tohsaka or Shirou Emiya, two of the three protagonists from Fate/stay night. They would work their way through the story using servants, who take the place of towers, to defeat various enemies.

Capsule Servant features many characters from throughout the whole franchise, so it makes sense why they've chosen to make a mobile version to celebrate an anniversary. It's not clear at this stage if it will be a straight port or if additional characters will be added to include newer Fate games that were released after Hollow ataraxia.

Despite what the name implies, Capsule Servant will not be a gacha style release in the mould of its mobile brethren Fate/Grand order. Instead, it will be a premium game without in-app purchases, though a price has not been announced yet.

No release date has been announced yet, although it is expected to be out this year in Japan. No Western version has been detailed yet but it's likely we'll have to wait a little longer anyway. More details are set to be revealed in October at the Machi Asobi event in Japan. If you can read Japanese or want to know which characters are in the game and would recognise them, then check out the official site.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.

You thought Flappy Bird was frustrating? That Badland was hard? Just wait until you play Nimble Birds, the most rage-inducing game the App Store has ever seen.

In Flappy Bird all you had to worry about was guiding your little flapper through a series of stationary pipes.

Yes, it wasn’t as easy as it sounds but how about trying to navigate an equally rubbish flyer through moving obstacles while trying to pick up life saving items along the way?

Well, that’s exactly what Nimble Birds expects you to do and it’s just as frustrating as it sounds.

Yes, it might have a similar atmospheric charm and visual aesthetic to Badland but you won’t be noticing that when you’re dying over and over again.

There are two modes of play: classic and adventure. Classic is a collection of star-chasing levels while Adventure is a marathon endless mode.

If you’re intent on getting three stars in each of the Classic levels you’re going to need to collect all of the blue orbs, which is no mean feat considering that a lot of them are placed just near the obstacles you’re trying to avoid.

Keys remove barriers blocking your path and coins are used to purchase different types of flappers which are useful in different circumstances.

The default bird both falls and flaps quite quickly and is easily the most frustrating to play while the fat bird does neither quickly and is best used during levels requiring a steady flyer.

The tiny bird falls quicker but can also fly a lot better than both of the others so is perfect for difficult to navigate courses.

You can’t buy the other two flappers permanently so collecting coins in less difficult levels is vital to ensure that you have the right bird for the right occasion.

No matter which flapper or mode you choose, one thing is for sure: Nimble Birds is going to frustrate you and frustrate you a lot. You’ve been warned.

Luc Bernard has changed the name of his free-to-play hand-drawn action-RPG Reaper, which is now called Death Tales. Oh, and it's also a PS Vita and PlayStation TV exclusive now.

It's still the same story of one of Death's reapers turning on its master after being sent to kill their daughter, so don't worry about that.

We first heard of Reaper way back in 2010, when it was expected to be released on iOS, Android, and PSP by the summer of 2011.

It didn't pop up again until this past summer when it was announced for Vita.

So this is the first time we've heard of it being exclusive to Vita. Well, and PS TV, if that counts too.

Bernard also revealed that Death Tales will have both online and local two-player co-op.

The local multiplayer will only be for PS TV as expected (it needs a big screen and two controllers).
A Way To Slay(weapons )
Bandai Namco has soft-launched highly praised console game Pac-Man Championship Edition DX for iOS in New Zealand.

However, the game isn't the exact same one you might have played on Xbox 360 or PS3. You see, it's a free to play game rather than premium.

So, while this sequel to the Gold Award-winning Pac-Man Championship Edition is fundamentally the same as the console game, there are a few notable differences.

As you might fear, yes, there are wait-timers on lives and bombs in this iOS version. Yep, if you run out of either you're going to have to wait for more or, if you'd rather, pay for them.

That's the biggest difference, really. Others are some changes to level design, and the expected swipe controls.

Otherwise, it's mostly the same game. That means you'll be eating pellets and fruit around the neon colored mazes to score points. The speed increases the higher your score is.

Of course, DX's addition of sleeping ghosts that chase you once you've passed them, and conga lines of rainbow ghosts for huge points remains, too.

We'll let you know when Namco Bandai launches Pac-Man Championship Edition DX on the global App Store.
